A not-for-profit arts organisation

Yardley Arts exists to create greater connectivity and improve lives through the development of our community's artistic talents. We support predominantly rural artists and talent through our dedicated arts centre.

We provide an imaginative art programme of training workshops, creative personal development, events and exhibitions. Our aim is to involve and communicate with our immediate and neighbouring villages and districts to providing a dedicated focal point for the arts in South Northants, in order to provide access to diverse range of arts activities that assists in:

  • Increasing practitioners' skills

  • Making available experiences in arts that would otherwise be denied

  • Increasing participants range of contacts for networking other opportunities

  • Encouraging new informal networks and links

  • Helping to reduce isolation

  • Supporting better community cohesion

Whether you're an amateur or professional artist, you are always welcome at Yardley Arts.

The team behind it

The steering committee comprises experienced artists, art curators, art historians and art educators with connection to the neighbouring communities, all enthusiastically dedicated to supporting artists with abilities at all levels. We are often in discussion with a number of art organisations and individuals in providing additional voluntary and professional administration services for the project. In addition, we are building up a community of volunteers, active in the day-to-day management, developing their own creative practice, networking and connection with artists.
