Looking to improve and develop your drawing, or make studies from the figure? Maybe you simply love life drawing?
Sara Myers’ Saturday life drawing is a relaxed and friendly untutored life drawing group with professional models and lighting, set in our stunning main studio. Each event has a different model and theme carefully chosen to inspire and enhance your drawing skills.
AM - 1 minute to 30 minute poses with Yvette. Yvette is a true muse and the short poses always offer something special and inspirational
PM - Long, single session with Keith. This is great for a long developed/or colour study. Keith is a disciplined model where the skeletal form and musculature is very clear
Suitable for beginners and more experienced artists alike, working in various styles and media.
As a general rule these classes run two Saturdays in every month, either with morning and afternoon sessions which can be booked individually, or all day life drawing events.

about the tutor
Sara Myers is a freelance sculptor based in Milton Keynes. Sara apprenticed for a short time with well known figurative sculptors Edward Russell, Lorne Mckean and John Doubleday after which she went back to school studying Fine Art Sculpture in London, followed a little later by a Masters in New York.
As well as studying, Sara exhibited and worked in New York and had a studio in Harlem. During this time she worked producing prototypes for Warner Bros and sculpted for an Artist, which developed into a long relationship that resulted in running her studio in Soho (Manhattan). After 5 years Sara returned to the Uk and rented a barn to make sculptures.
