We are delighted to show work by a group of selected artists from our region in our annual Summer Exhibition being held at the Arts Centre during this weekend. In its inaugural year, the exhibition has the theme of the garden and landscapes – and promises to be an eclectic and exciting event.
Some of the artists on display, Chris Richbell, Gerald Porter and Nicky Hunter are our tutors who have delivered workshops and courses this year - so you may have met them at some point.
During the Sunday, 30 June, the artists will be situated around the village painting and drawing, and gathering inspiration from the garden and atmosphere of the ‘Open Gardens’ event, also taking place that day here in Yardley Hastings in Northamptonshire.
Neil and some of his team from Primrose Gallery in Thrapston will also be showing work by some of their represented artists, who come from all over the UK. This will include fine art paintings, original prints, ceramics and glass art.
All the artwork exhibited will be for sale. Please come along and take a look.
Charlotte Cornish, Claire Denny, Nicky Hunter, Johan, Gerald Porter, Chris Richbell and Anna Steiner
