During this workshop with artist, Claire Denny, you will learn how to draw your chosen shopfront image by beginning with simple big shapes. We will then break these down into smaller shapes resulting in a well-proportioned drawing to which you can add details, first in pencil, then pen and finally watercolour.
There will be demonstrations at every stage throughout the day. You won't even need to worry about the dreaded linear perspective, because we will taking a simplified straight-on view at a forward-facing shopfront.
At the end of the workshop you should have created a well-drawn pen and watercolour image of a character filled shopfront.
