Already attended a beginners course in watercolours? Then this is the course for you, led by Chris Richbell and created due to demand.
We will be building on your skills from the earlier course and developing them further by analysing and using subtle colour mixes. We will be using classical watercolour techniques such as wet into wet, reserving whites, dry brush work, and lifting out colour to produce at least one larger scale painting to be proud of. Plus a range of experiments which will include colour underpainting … and the use of opaque paint.
Chris is a very experienced teacher and practitioner. She is friendly and relaxed, and aims to increase your confidence in your work and your ability.
