Are your drawing skills a bit rusty? Would you like to learn simple but effective techniques to help you draw what you see? If so, this could be just the course for you...
Come along and join our relaxed and friendly Thursday afternoon drawing group and be inspired by our beautiful surroundings. The aim of each session is to develop your understanding of art fundamentals through a series of imaginative and varied exercises. We’ll be looking at the work of different artists and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion.
The course is led by classically trained sculptor Sara Myers and is suitable for those aged 16 and up.
What to bring
Basic materials will be provided. These include paper, willow charcoal, pencils, rubbers and masking tape. Please feel free to bring any favourite drawing media, and sketchbooks if you prefer.
What to wear
Just wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting charcoal on.
Dates and cost
Thursdays 2pm to 4pm starting on 7 June for five weeks.
Cost: £75 per person
