Whether you are new to life drawing or would like some time drawing a model, everyone can be catered for in this course. The course is led by Sara Myers, a classically trained artist and sculptor, and her approach is very much based on individual help and feedback.
What to expect
The basic set up is drawing the model from an easel. The model timings will be quick poses to longer poses, ending with a 45-minute pose at the end and a short break halfway through.
What to bring
Basic materials will be provided. These include drawing boards and clips, paper, willow charcoal, pencils, rubbers and masking tape. Please feel free to bring any favourite drawing media, and sketchbooks or your own paper, if you prefer.
What to wear
Just wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting charcoal on.
Dates and cost
Tuesdays 7pm to 9pm starting on 11th September for five weeks (excluding 9 October).
Cost: £90 for the course (£75 concessions for students/employed). Open to all levels, but not suitable for complete beginners. Age 16+. A level Art students might find this course really useful too. Spaces limited to 12, so early booking recommended!
