Whether you are new to jewellery making or would like some workshop time to improve your skills, this is the course for you. Over the 10 weeks, we will cover many of the traditional techniques used in the silver trade, and you will use them to make at least two beautifully crafted items designed by yourself.
The course is led by Beccy Gillatt.

Wednesdays 12.45pm to 2.45pm starting on 18 April for 10 weeks (excluding half term week).
Cost: £170 per person

The course is limited to 8-12 spaces (maximum).

Additional information
What you need to bring:
Notepad (blank page) or sketchbook
Pen and pencil
Any jewellery that you have made before
Textures such as skeleton leaves, fabric off cuts, textured paper
What to wear
Please make sure that you have a hairband to tie your hair back and do not wear floaty skirts, really loose fitting clothes, scarves or open toe shoes, as we will be in a workshop environment. We will use torches and some acids, which can damage clothes so an apron or pinny is recommended as well as remembering not to wear your favourite jeans!

What you will make
You will make a range of samples, in copper, using the techniques shown and complete a workbook of processes. You will complete at least two pieces of wearable silver jewellery within the 10 weeks.
