‘Art on the Wall ‘ is a rolling exhibition of works on the largest wall in the main space at Yardley Arts.

You are invited to an Open Afternoon of the work of Cathy Burnett’s You Can Draw! students on Sunday 23 February, from 1pm – 3pm, free admission, everyone welcome, refreshments provided.

During this workshop you will create an expressive painting bursting with light and radiant colour capturing a vibrant and beautiful swan painted at large scale for dramatic effect.

In this Ceramic Wall Vase Workshop, you’ll craft a one-of-a-kind piece of art that adds colour, charm and personality to your home or garden.

This experimental art class with Emma Lindsay will teach children new skills and how to use different materials in fun and varied ways.

Looking at the impressionist flower painting of the French painter Berthe Morisot, we will paint a loose, expressive flower bouquet using acrylic paints in spring colours.

Loosen up your acrylic landscape painting! We will make exploratory sketches in paint followed by a larger version on canvas board. Learn how to make a dynamic composition, select and bring attention to the focal point and experience and use a wide range of acrylic techniques.

The small group makes more personal tuition time available.

In this bank holiday weekend workshop, let artist Sally Ellis inspire you to create your own contemporary still life paintings using acrylic paints and inks in our stunning art centre.

Sally will guide you through her unique process which will encourage you to be playful, expressive and brave which you can then adapt accordingly in your own painting.

At the end of the weekend, you will have created up to 2 paintings on artist quality acrylic paper on cradled wooden panels.
