Making sun prints is a fantastic outdoor art activity to do with children. The process is fascinating and there’s lot to learn about the sun and shadows and it encourages children to be observant about shape, pattern and negative images. As an added bonus, the results are simply beautiful. This is a popular activity for children in particular, as once they get the hang of it, they are keen to experiment!

Fancy creating art alongside your family? Come along to our Halloween themed paper collage workshop with local artist and tutor, Martine Soldano of Snips and Pieces. You will learn handy ‘snip tips’ in order to create a spooky scene and ghoulish characters! Snip, stick, socialise and enjoy creating alongside family members using Martine’s hand coloured paper packs, magazines and mixed media resources to add detail. You’ll leave with frightfully great artwork to be proud of- we promise!
