A fun and experimental Saturday art class with Emma Lindsay running monthly.
There will be an exciting project each time, which will teach children new skills and also how to use different materials in fun and varied ways.
We will have a go at drawing, painting, printmaking and more!

21 January - Circle Art Garden
Create a colourfuk garden with paint and collage
4 February - Sea View Painting
Inspired by the artist Henri Matisse, create a colourful sea view painting
18 March - Circles
Create a circle dot collage, inspired by abstract artist Howardena Pindell
29 April - Crazy Chrysanthemums
Create a 3D flower collage using painted papers
13 May - Concentric Circles
Inspired by the Russian artist Sonia Delaunay, create a concentric circle design using oil pastels
What to bring
All materials are provided, just bring an apron/old shirt & some refreshments

About the tutor
After completing a Fine Art and Art History degree at Newcastle University, Emma has worked in heritage organisations and in education, whilst maintaining a love for painting, drawing and printmaking. Emma’s work has been published in various books and guides, and she has exhibited in Covent Garden in London and Hatton Gallery in Newcastle.
