A fun and experimental, children’s art class for half term with Emma Lindsay. In this special class for the holidays, the children will be doing a self portrait using bleeding tissue paper and black ink.

Typical art club subjects

Topics vary each session and include subjects such as:

Collage winter trees
Romero Britto hearts with bleeding tissue
Landscape collages and printing
Patterned landscapes with 3D houses
Self portraits

What to bring

All materials are provided, just bring an apron/old shirt for your child/ren.

Cold drinks and biscuits are available. Please bring anything else your child might require, if needed for special diet or medical reasons.

Cost

Cost £22 per child. Suitable for ages 7-12. Spaces limited to just 10 people, so book early to avoid disappointment.

About the tutor

After completing a Fine Art and Art History degree at Newcastle University, Emma has worked in heritage organisations and in education, whilst maintaining a love for painting, drawing and printmaking. Emma’s work has been published in various books and guides, and she has exhibited in Covent Garden in London and Hatton Gallery in Newcastle.
