Abstract Sunday with Cathy Burnett will be a fun, welcoming and creative opportunity for you to explore composition, colour and mark making.
You will be introduced to the concept of abstract art through a series of activities. The goal will be to produce your own abstract painting by the end of the day.
You will be encouraged to experiment with mark making, colour mixing and reflect on the impact of your compositional ideas before you embark on a resolved outcome. This will ensure you are painting with purpose and are able to make decisions about the progress of your art.
Your tutor, Cathy Burnett will guide and support you throughout the workshop, getting you out of your comfort zone and finding delight in the joy of abstraction.
