If your children love being musical, then they will love this all-day songwriting workshop. Through games, exercises, singing, and songwriting, they will embark on a fun, explorative journey of self-discovery.
A piece of paper and a pen can have a profound impact on a person, when used as a focal point to create a unique and personal song. For children, this can be a life-changing experience: it provides a fun way of exploring thoughts, processing emotions, and building confidence as they navigate their way through their feelings on an hourly basis every day.
This is a unique opportunity to learn from expert Sophie Garner and take away tools they will never forget. No experience is needed and there is no pressure to sing for those who simply just wish to write.
The workshop will end with a short performance of the songs created for family members or carers.

Publications
Sophie is the published author of two books: The Creative Songwriting Journal and If You Can't Say It Sing It. They are packed with exercises and Sophie's unique approach to song writing is made easy so that every child can learn how to do it.
Based on 17 years of teaching, 4,000+ hours and 30 years as a singer/songwriter, the purpose of both books is to build confidence, support wellbeing, and encourage self-expression. It is a tool kit to deal with emotions at what can be a very difficult and often anxious time growing up.
Sophie will be selling signed copies of her books exclusively at the end of the workshop to parents with 20% off for all attendees with some exclusive extra treats included!
