An opportunity for your child/ren to come and learn how to create one-off monoprints, using acrylic paints and inspired by the beautiful work of Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, with tutor Emma Lindsay.
Following on from the Tree of Life painting in the previous workshop, we will be creating colourful designs inspired by his rich use of colour, pattern and texture.
A fun, messy and creative workshop for all abilities, aged 7-12 years.
What to bring
All materials are provided, just bring an apron/old shirt for your child/ren.
Cold drinks and biscuits are available. Please bring anything else your child might require, if needed for special diet or medical reasons.
Cost
£12 per child. Suitable for ages 7-12. Spaces limited to 12.

About the tutor
After completing a Fine Art and Art History degree at Newcastle University, Emma has worked in heritage organisations and in education, whilst maintaining a love for painting, drawing and printmaking. Emma’s work has been published in various books and guides, and she has exhibited in Covent Garden in London and Hatton Gallery in Newcastle.
